Flight from Auckland to Santiago. Minibus from Santiago to Pichidangui, then on to La Serena, Bahia Inglesa, La Isla Damas, Antofagasta and on to San Pedro de Atacama. From San Pedro we took a 4x4 across the Bolivian border to Uyuni, then bus to Potosi and night bus to La Paz. La Paz to Rurrenabache by plane. Rurrenabache to Chalalan (and back) by boat, then back to La Paz by plane. Bus from La Paz to Copacabana. Bus from Copacabana across the Peruvian border to Puno. Bus from Puno to Arequipa. Bus from Arequipa to Colca Canyon (and back). Night bus from Arequipa to Cuzco. Train from Cuzco to Machu Picchu (and back). Flight from Cuzco to Lima. Flight from Lima to Miami.
