Our introduction to Australia was the Winter Solstice Trance Party, which we were enthusiastically encouraged to attend by our good friend Debbie.

How to describe this party??? Well, we heard Debs describe it as a Music, Arts and Lifestyle festival. More accurately would be a Trance (read New Age Hippy) festival.

We had a cracking time, the music was ace, the hippies were beautiful, and the rain held off until the day we left...

...which was actually a mini-disaster for us as we managed to get the Campervan thoroughly stuck in the mud! It took us most of the day to get out, thanks to the kind assistance of several 4x4 drivers. We heard later that they had to dig out a new road for folks leaving after us...
