Siem Reap is Cambodia's most touristy town, and is famed for the splendid Angkorian temples which surround it.

While Angkor Wat is most certainly the most well known temple, it is not the most interesting. Angkor Thom, which is a 15-minute bike ride away, is testament to that.

The closest we'll ever get to walking in Angelina Jolie's footsteps was a couple of hours spent wandering through 'Tomb Raider's' temple Ta Phrom.

What it lacks in size, it most certainly makes up for in atmosphere as most of the temple is on the losing end of a battle between it and the trees which grow around and through it. Mind you, it was a little hard for Marconi and Catherine to play 'Tomb Raider meets the Triple Driples at the Temple of Doom', what with the hundreds of Japanese tourists clicking away at our turf! In the end we got our revenge by walking into shot as often as we could. Clearly, we live on the edge!
