Peine is a tiny village in the middle of the desert.
We stopped off for a bit of lunch while some of the tour took a dip in a little bathing spot at the edge of the town.
Most households have hoisted a black flag outside their houses.
This is to protest against the effect salt mining has had on the village, which has seen its water table drop to the point that water now has to be brought into the town.
