After Dunedin, we headed for the fjords and Milford Sound.

So, what is a fjord exactly? It's a valley created by a glacier, apparently. You can actually see the trail of the glacier as it pushed through the valley, as well as the lines which show different ice-ages. Kind of makes you think about how brief human history has been on this old planet (apologies to all those creationists out there - you weirdos!)

And what exactly is a Kea?

A Kea is an alpine parrot, the only one of its kind. They enjoy fruits and berries, and intimidating city kids in rental cars.
