Bad weather threatened our day out to the Lady Island.

But fortunately we got the all clear, and despite the increasingly choppy ocean, we made our way out to an island chain, much of which has been declared a national park.

It was an Alfred Hitchcock movie in the making...

as we were totally surrounded by dozens of species of birdlife, swooping and fishing in the seas around us. We also managed to do a bit of penguin and sea lion spotting and, most importantly, didn't lose our breakfast overboard!
