Fraser Island is the biggest sand island in the world, which is pretty amazing considering it supports so much life...and it's only beach sand!

Fraser Island also has the purest strain of dingo dogs living on it - 98% pure - mainly because it's an island, and you don't get many poodles around to interbreed with on an island.

Fraser Island also has a rain forest growing out of the sand.

It also has humungous trees which used to be logged until the Greens managed to stop logging in the early 90's. We couldn't resist a spot of tree hugging, they were so gorgeous!
