And hence the name Bahia Inglesa, named after an English pirate, Edward Davis, in 1687. Today it is one of the most photographed beaches in Chile.
As accomodation was very expensive,
...we spent two nights sharing A-lined cottages with our fellow travellers. This meant that I was treated to Marc and Jay in a tandem snoring session!
We had a terrific braai on the second night, and with lots of White Russians to speed the way, we almost managed to stay awake for the lunar eclipse. Unfortunately though, the skies clouded over and we were soon in desperate need to pass out.
